The control valve is the most important piece of equipment in modern process loops and control systems.

The operational conditions of fluid pressure, temperature and process dynamics require rigor in the analysis of intrinsic characteristics and in the selection of control valves to obtain efficient performance in a process control system.

We have assembled a range of products with the design, geometry and shapes that differentiate us in the specialty and severe service control valve market, in applications, such as: superheated steam, high differential pressures, volatile, corrosive, dirty and erosive fluids, as well as solutions to eliminate cavitation and aerodynamic noise issues.

These shape and design characteristics, together with the use of noble materials, modern casting processes and advanced assembly and test technology, has allowed us to achieve an extraordinary level of capability and quality that is recognized by our Customers all over the world.

The control valve offering includes Reciprocating Globe, Angle and Three-Way, Rotary Eccentric Plug, Double and Triple Offset Butterfly, Segmented V-Ball, Specialty Ball, Desuperheaters and Regulators. They come equipped with Double-acting spring return actuators and advanced digital positioners and provide the thrust, speed, accuracy and response to handle the most exacting applications.

Globe control Valves
The G-Stream is the work-horse of the reciprocating valve offering with a modern design that incorporates an advanced clamped-in seat ring and a double upper guide system. It is available in a wide range of configurations and suitable for a wide variety of applications in the continuous process industries. Its double-acting spring-cylinder actuator ensures high actuation thrusts, pneumatic stiffness and excellent performance levels. The G-Stream is extremely versatile and can be supplied with several options to meet the specific needs of each application.

TECHNICAL FEATURES

Alpha
In applications with low and medium intensity cavitation, Alpha trim offers an economical and effective solution to minimize the harmful effects of this condition. The cage trim flow to close design, with staggered and diametrically opposed holes, directs the fluid jets towards the center of the trim and away from metal surfaces. The use of hardened materials limits damage and erosion phenomena.

TECHNICAL FEATURES

Attenuator plate Beta
Using the same principle as the Beta Trim, the Beta attenuator plate is installed downstream of the control valve to reduce overall noise levels on gas applications. Each plate can be designed with up to four drilled-hole stages, providing noise reductions of up to 15 dBA (depending upon the process conditions). The Beta attenuator can be used for liquid flows when a higher counter pressure on valve trim is required to avoid cavitation.

TECHNICAL FEATURES

Delta
Delta is a Multistep-multipath concept trim. Delta effectively reduces the noise produced by gases and liquids and eliminates the effects of cavitation. The cartridge comprises a disk stack with engineered grooves, which forces a series of expansions, contractions and turns of the fluid, thus reducing the pressure gradually.

TECHNICAL FEATURES

Beta
Valves equipped with Beta Trim reduce noise levels in gas applications up to 20 dBA. The trim design incorporates a series of holes in concentric silencers that allows the pressure reduction and gas expansion in stages; which controls velocity and minimizes downstream noise.

TECHNICAL FEATURES

Gamma
Gamma trim eliminates the damage caused by cavitation and minimizes hydrodynamic noise even under the most severe liquid applications. The Gamma cartridge is designed to take the total pressure drop through the valve trim in stages, and avoid cavitation throughout the entire path of the fluid in the trim.

TECHNICAL FEATURES

Omicron
Omicron multistep trim prevents damage caused by cavitation, and is applied when applications incur high differential pressures and very low flow rates. The plug head has grooves that extend spirally along its length and intersect several times. The fluid passing through the channels experiences a continuous increase in the passage area, and pressure reduction occurs in stages.

TECHNICAL FEATURES

Omega
Omega internal trim is designed for applications with liquids experiencing extreme cavitation and low flow rates. Based on the same principles as Gamma internal trim, Omega trim utilizes an internal cartridge containing channels and orifices which is part of the seat-guided plug. The perforated cartridge may contain up to 5 stages for the gradual reduction of pressure. The operating fluid should be clean and free of particles.
